Our Vision

We envision a world in which every woman and girl, and their communities have an opportunity to reach their highest potential. We believe that every girl has potential and we work to ensure that one day, every girl can have access to quality education to enable her to reach her highest potential. We work to ensure that one day every girl can escape poverty and live a fulfilling life, so that every girl can one day have the capability to effectively participate and make a positive contribution to the global economy and the development of Africa and the world at large.

Our Mission

To educate, empower, inspire and motivate women and girls to become effective and influential leaders in business, politics, society, environment, science, technology and all other walks of life. Our Mission is to equip women and girls with the necessary leadership skills, tools, knowledge, information, systems and networks required to close the gender gap.

Objectives

  1. Educate, empower, inspire, motivate, train, mentor and equip women and girls with
    necessary skills to take up leadership roles and to excel as efficient and effective leaders.
  2. Bridge the gaps and weaknesses in young women and girls’ education to delay sexual
    initiation and teenage pregnancies and lower the rates of HIV/AIDS, risks of domestic
    violence and reduce early child marriages by offering opportunities for young women and
    girls to return to school and continue their education after having a child.
  3. Provide opportunities for upward social and economic mobility for disadvantaged young
    women and girls from poor rural communities to realise sustainable livelihoods, innovations,
    creativity and job creation and bridge the gender gap in education, access to employment
    and economic participation.
  4. Promote the rights of women and girls and address challenges facing women and girls’
    education by providing scholarships to access higher education and hold Conferences,
    Workshop and Seminars on leadership and entrepreneurship focused on gender equality and
    the empowerment of women and girls.
  5. Create international power networks of women movers and shakers by connecting women
    and girls from developing countries with women and girls in developed countries for
    purposes of sharing ideas, hopes, aspirations, and experiences; and to mentor, educate,
    empower, inspire and motivate one another to become effective female leaders of the 21st
    Century.
  6. Contribute to the actualisation of the United Nations Agenda 2030 Global Goals for
    Sustainable Development (SDGs) and the African Union Agenda 2063, and their regional,
    national and local initiatives aimed at the achievement of gender equality, empowerment of
    women and girls, protecting and upholding the rights of women and girls, and the alleviation
    of poverty and its feminisation.
